The California Building Code, 2001 Edition, Volumes One and. Two and State of California Amendments Referred to as the California Building Code; 7 B. The California Building Code Standards, 2001 Edition; 8 C. The Uniform Sign Code, 1997 Edition; 9 D. The Uniform Code for Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition; 10 E. The Uniform Administrative Code, 1997 Edition; 11 F. The California Mechanical Code, 2001 Edition; 12 G. The California Plumbing Code, 2001 Edition; H. The California Electrical Code, 2001 Edition; 13 I. The Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa, and Hot Tub Code, 2000 Edition; 14 J. The Uniform Code for Building Conservation, 1997 Edition; 15 K. The Uniform Housing Code, 1997 Edition (hereafter jointly "the Codes.") 16 The aforementioned codes are adopted as the building code of the City of 17 Colton, for regulating the erection, construction, alteration, repair, moving, removal, 18 demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and/or maintenance 19 and other matters contained in said codes of all buildings and structures of any type whatsoever and each of the provisions in reference to issuance of permits, collection of 20 fees, and each and every provision, regulation, condition, and term of the codes are 21 adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein. 22 15.04.020 Changes in codes. 23 A. Designated sections of the "California Building Code," 2001 Edition, 24 inclusive of California amendments adopted in Title 24 of the California Code of 25 Regulations, are hereby amended as set forth below: 26 1. Section 106.2 of the California Building Code is amended to read as follows: 27 AAII fences require a building permit. 28 2. Section 504.6.1 of the California Building Code is amended by adding the following: 5
