Proposed <br />developments along the ridges identified in Figure 15 should receive <br />special attention from each reviewing jurisdiction (i.e. Colton, Loma <br />Linda, San Bernardino County) in relation to density, grading and <br />design. Developers, planners and architects should take care to design <br />their developments in these areas to avoid unnecessary intrusions on <br />these ridges, and to locate buildings off the ridgelines themselves. <br />Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this specific <br />plan, ridgelines and land forms not visible from Reche Canyon Road may <br />be graded and built upon provided it is done so in an <br />environmentally -sensitive manner and is consistent with Design Standards <br />(Chapter Six) of this Specific Plan." <br />10. The following Section is hereby added between Section 5.1.2 and Section 5.1.3 on page <br />52 to read as follows: <br />"5.1.2.1 Permitted Densities in Planning Area 9(A) <br />In addition to the density range identified in Table 2A, a range of maximum <br />densities are as follows: <br />• No more than 1 dwelling unit per acre less than 20% slope. <br />• No development on slope over 20%." <br />111. Section 5.3.2 of page 55 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"5.3.2 Permitted Densities <br />A range of densities is permitted as follows: <br />1.
