R-117-86 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE CON- SOLIDATED WITH THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 1986, HERETOFORE CALLED BY RESOLUTION NO. R-108-86, AND ORDERING THE SUBMISSION TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF SAID CITY OF A CERTAIN MEASURE RELATING TO STABILIZATION OF RENTS. WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election on November 4, 1986, for the election of a Mayor and 2 Members of the City Council of the City of Colton has been heretofore called by Resolution No. R-108- 86, adopted on July 1, 1986; and WHEREAS, pursuant to authority provided by statute a peti- tion has been filed with the legislative body of the City of Colton, California, signed by more than 13 percent of the number of regis- tered voters of the City to submit a proposed ordinance relating to Rent Stabilization; and WHEREAS, it is desirable that a Special Municipal Election be consolidated with the General Municipal Flection to be held on the same date and that within the City the precincts, polling place: and election officers of the two elections be the same, and that thi County election department of the County of San Bernardino canvass the returns of the Special Municipal Election and that the election be held in all respects as if there were only one election; and WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized and directed by lstatute to submit the proposed ordinance to the voters; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, IICALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
