R-19-86 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNIN— <br />HABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "COLTON ANNEXATION <br />SOUTH 43" TO THE CITY OF COLTON AND DETACHING SAID <br />ANNEXED AREA FROM COUNTY SERVICE AREA 38, IMPROVE— <br />MENT ZONE G OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA 38, COUNTY SERVICE <br />AREA 70, AND IMPROVEMENT ZONE A OF COUNTY SERVICE <br />AREA 70. <br />WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings for annexation of certain <br />lescribed territory to the City of Colton were initiated when the <br />)roperty owner filed a resolution of application with the Local <br />agency Formation Commission in the County of San Bernardino in <br />accordance with the Municipal Organization Act of 1977 (Gov. <br />:ode Section 35000 et. seq.); and <br />WHEREAS, thereafter appropriate proceedings were conducted <br />)y the Local Agency Formation Commission and on July 17, 1985, the <br />:ommission adopted a resolution, being Resolution No. 1998, approv— <br />Cng the proposed annexation, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The conducting authority for this proceeding shall be <br />:he City of Colton. <br />2. The boundaries are approved as set forth in Exhibit "A" <br />attached. <br />3. The following distinctive short form designation shall <br />)e used throughout this proceeding: LAFC 2326. <br />4. Included in the City's resolution depicting final action <br />shall be the detachment of County Service Area 38 (fire protection) <br />ind improvement Zone G of CSA 38, County Service Area 70 (county— <br />wide), and improvement Zone A of CSA 70 (weed abatement) without <br />1 <br />
