Salary Increase. <br />Effective January 1, 1986, the salary schedule shall be increased by <br />5% across-the-board (as set forth in the Job Classification List and <br />Monthly Payroll Rate Schedule marked Exhibit "A"). <br />2. Maintenance of Benefits. <br />All other terms and conditions of employment in existence immediately <br />prior to the effective date of this Memorandum of Understanding and not <br />altered by this agreement, shall remain the same, unchanged, and in full <br />force and effect unless altered by the mutual agreement of the City and <br />the Association. <br />3. Savings Clause. <br />Should any provision of this agreement be held invalid by a court of <br />competent jurisdiction, then the remaining provisions shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />4.
