R- 9 -87 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON SETTING STREET CUT REGULATIONS <br />AND FEES AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1761 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton adopts the following rules and regulations and fees <br />relating tothe cutting, excavating and maintaining of public <br />streets, alleys, courts and other public places as follows: <br />Section I: The following words and phrases are <br />definitions and shall be construed as hereinafter set forth for <br />the purposes of these rules and regulations. <br />A. "ASPHALT STREET" shall mean any street the surface <br />of which is paved with a mixture of rock, sand and asphalt cement, <br />including any of those which are commonly known such as sheet <br />asphalt, asphalt and asphaltic concrete pavement. <br />B. "CONCRETE STREET" shall mean any street paved with <br />Portland Cement concrete. <br />C. "ROCK AND OIL" shall mean any street the surface <br />of which is composed of macadam pavement, or a mixture of rock, <br />sand and either road oil or liquid asphalt. <br />D. "UNIMPROVED STREET" shall mean any street the sur- <br />face of which is composed dirt, soil, sand, gravel, decomposed <br />granite, or similar materials in their natural state. <br />E. "CONCRETE GUTTER" shall mean any gutter composed <br />of Portland Cement concrete. <br />F. "CONCRETE DRIVEWAY" shall mean any driveway paved <br />with Portland Cement concrete. <br />G. "CONCRETE SIDEWALK" shall mean any driveway paved <br />
