CITY OF COLTON MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING 1987 - 1989 BY AND BETWEEN THE COLTON POLICE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION AND THE CITY OF COLTON This Memorandum of Understanding has been prepared pursuant to Government Code Sections 3500 through 3510 as amended, which is generally referred to as the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act. This Memorandum of Understanding is subject to the approval of the City Council of the City of Colton and will be placed into effect upon the adoption of the necessary ordinances and resolutions by the City Council, if acceptable to them, in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth. The parties agree that the provisions contained herein shall be subject to all acceptable law and covers the period of December 27, 1986, through December 31, 1989. RECOGNITION The City hereby recognizes the Colton Police Management Association as the representative of employees in the classification of Police Captain and Lieutenant. OKlR;l;� Effective December 27, 1986, all employees in the above represented classifications shall receive a base salary increase of four percent (4%). Effective December 26, 1987, all employees in the above represented classifications shall receive a base salary increase of five percent (5%). Effective December 24, 1988, all employees in the above -represented classifications shall receive a base salary increase of five per- cent (5%).
