R-72-87 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON TO APPOINT SPECIFIC <br />REPRESENTATIVES TO THE INDEPENDENT <br />CITIES RISK MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Independent <br />Cities Risk Management Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Liability <br />Risk Management Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agree- <br />ment for Insurance and Risk Management purposes dated May 13, 1987, <br />and the Risk Management Committee By -Laws require that an elected <br />official be appointed by resolution to the Governing Board of the <br />Authority and an alternate be appointed by resolution to act in the <br />primary member's absence; and <br />12 II and <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, the Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agree - <br />t for Insurance and Risk Management purposes dated May 13, 1987, <br />the Risk Management Committee By -Laws require that a staff <br />ber be appointed as a voting member of each Risk Management Com - <br />mittee that the City is a member of and another representative to <br />act in the primary member's absence. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />does resolve as follows: <br />Section 1. That the City of Colton appoints the Honorable <br />Connie Cisneros, Council Member to serve on <br />the Governing Board of the Independent Cities <br />Risk Management Authority. <br />Section 2. That the City of Colton appoints Helen A. <br />Ramos, City Clerk, to serve on the Governing <br />Board of the Independent Cities Risk Manage- <br />ment Authority in the absence of the primary <br />member noted in Section 1 above. <br />Section 3. That the City of Colton appoints Helen A. <br />Ramos, City Clerk, to serve on the Liability <br />Risk Management Committee. <br />Section 4. That the City of Colton appoints Leslie Keane, <br />Assistant City Manager, to serve on the Liabil <br />ity Risk Management Committee in the absence <br />of the primary member noted in Section 3 above <br />Section 5. That the individuals previously designated by <br />this Council as the City's representative and <br />alternate to <br />
