R-95-87 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DETERMINING THE ASSESSMENTS REMAINING UNPAID AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE SEVERAL INSTALLMENTS OF <br />PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ON THE ASSESSMENT COMING DUE <br />DURING FISCAL YEAR 1987-88 AND THERAFTER WITH THE <br />AUDITOR CONTROLLER OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 79-1 (AIRPORT COMMERCE CENTER) <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AGREEMENT FOR PARTIAL <br />PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, <br />California has previously undertaken proceedings pursuant to <br />the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, being Division 12 of <br />the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and <br />has confirmed assessments upon lands within a special <br />Assessment District known and designated as Assessment <br />District No. 791 (Airport Commerce Center); and <br />WHEREAS, the Treaurer of the City of Colton, immediately <br />upon completion of the 30 -day cash collection period, <br />determined the assessments which were unpaid and the <br />aggregate amount thereof authorized by Section 8621 of the <br />Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, a copy of the order of the City Council of the <br />City of Colton determining the assessments remaining unpaid <br />and upon the secruity of which bonds were issued, was filed <br />in the offie of the Auditor -Controller of the County of San <br />Bernardino as authorized by Section 8682 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code of the State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, the Auditor -Controller is authorized to <br />annually enter in his assessment role on which taxes will <br />
