R-6-88 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE CONSOLI- <br />DATED SPECIAL ELECTIONS FOR COMMUNITY FACILI- <br />TIES DISTRICT NO. 87-1 OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFOR- <br />NIA, ON THE PROPOSITIONS WITH RESPECT TO <br />(i) INCURRING A BONDED INDEBTEDNESS IN AN <br />AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,500,000, (ii) THE <br />ANNUAL LEVY OF SPECIAL TAXES TO FINANCE <br />POLICE PROTECTION AND FIRE PROTECTION AND <br />SUPPRESSION SERVICES AND PAY PRINCIPAL AND <br />INTEREST ON BONDS, AND (iii) THE ESTABLISH- <br />MENT OF AN APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT <br />WHEREAS, on December 1, 1987, the City Council (the <br />"City Council") of the City of Colton (the "City") adopted <br />Resolution No. R-155-87 determining the necessity for Community <br />Facilities District No. 87-1 of the City of Colton, County of <br />San Bernardino, State of California (the "Community Facilities <br />District"), to incur a bonded indebtedness in an amount not to <br />exceed $3,500,000 and calling a special election on the <br />proposition of incurring such a bonded indebtedness for <br />January 5, 1988, and providing for the consolidation of said <br />election with the election on the propositions with respect to <br />the annual levy of special taxes on land within the Community <br />Facilities District to finance the provisions of police <br />protection and fire protection and suppression services and pay <br />principal of and interest on such bonds, and the establishment <br />of an appropriations limit for the Community Facilities <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 1, 1987, the City Council also <br />adopted Resolution No. R-156-87 calling a special election for <br />January 5, 1988, for submitting to the voters of the Community <br />
