R-52-88 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SERIES 1988 BONDS <br />OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 87-1 <br />IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF <br />$1,500,000 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton ( the <br />"City Council") has conducted all required proceedings pursuant <br />to the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, being <br />Chapter 2.5 (commencing with Section 53311) of Part 1 of <br />Division 2 of Title 5 of the California Government Code (the <br />"Bond Law"), for the - establishment of Community Facilities <br />District No. 87-1, City of Colton, California (the "Community <br />Facilities District"), including holding and conducting all <br />required hearings with respect to the establishment of the <br />Community Facilities District and the incurring of a bonded <br />indebtedness therefor; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Bond Law, on January 5, 1988 <br />consolidated special elections were held within the Community <br />Facilities District and there was submitted to the qualified <br />voters of the Community Facilities District, among other <br />propositions, the following proposition with respect to the <br />incurring of a bonded indebtedness and the issuance of bonds <br />therefor: <br />PROPOSITION A: Shall a bonded indebtedness in an <br />amount not to exceed $3,500,000 be incurred by and for <br />
