R-135-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ADOPTING A FIVE YEAR PROJECT LIST FOR <br />USE OF THE CITY'S SHARE OF LOCAL SALES TAX <br />TRANSPORTATION FUNDS <br />WHEREAS MEASURE 'I' requires adoption of a five <br />year project list for the City of Colton's share of local <br />sales tax transportation funds, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Colton does resolve as <br />follows: The Measure I project list for the Fiscal Year 199( <br />to Fiscal Year 1995 period shall include: <br />YEAR 1 -- <br />Olive Street from La Cadena Drive east to end of <br />Olive Street, reconstruction. <br />YEAR 2 -- <br />Pepper Avenue widening project from Valley Blvd. tc <br />the north City limits. This includes curbs, <br />sidewalks, street widening and paving. Upgrade of <br />I-10 Fwy. at Pepper Avenue and Valley Blvd. <br />YEAR 3 -- <br />City of Colton signal revitalization program. Thi; <br />will include the revitalization signalized <br />intersections. <br />Street overlay project which will include the <br />overlaying of Pennsylvania Avenue and <br />reconstruction to "C" Street, Meridian Avenue <br />overlaying and reconstruction to north City limits, <br />4th Street from Valley Blvd. to "C" Street, "F.", <br />"F", and "G" Streets from ATSF tracks west to 3rd <br />Street. <br />YEAR 4 -- <br />Reche Canyon Rd. widening project,. Note: The <br />City of Colton will be trying to make this a joint <br />project in conjunction with the Counties of San <br />Bernardino and Riverside with FAU monies. We are <br />anticipating to spend $500,000. The widening will <br />be from Barton Road south to the Colton City <br />limits. <br />
