1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of Colton, because <br />of a potential interest in the subject matter of the underlying <br />Ordinance No. 0-19A-89, and the proposed ordinances, has to date <br />taken no part in the research, preparation, counseling, enactment <br />or any other action relating to Ordinance No. 0-19A-89 or the pro- <br />posed ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the law firm of Best, Best & Krieger has acted <br />as Special Counsel to the City of Colton in the research, prepa- <br />ration, counseling, enactment and all other actions relating to <br />Ordinance No. 0-19A-89 and the proposed ordinances. <br />NOW, THEREFORE., THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the City Clerk transmit a copy of the <br />proposed Ordinances as they are to appear on the ballot of June <br />5, 1990, to Best, Best & Krieger, Special Counsel to the City <br />of Colton. <br />SECTION 2. That Best, Best & Krieger, as Special <br />Counsel to the City of Colton, shall, pursuant to Election Code <br />Section 5011, prepare an Impartial Analysis of the proposed <br />Ordinances, establishing a Rent Control Exemption for Mobile <br />Home Parks having not less than Sixty Percent Long Term Tenant <br />Leases and Creating a Mobile Home Tenant Relief Program. <br />SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the <br />passage and adoption of this Resolution and enter it into the <br />Book of original Resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of December, <br />1989. <br />
