1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, the reasons for this annexation are: the annexation of <br />the hereinbefore described territory will contribute to the orderly <br />arowth of the City of Colton, provide the proper control of <br />infrastructure improvements, and insure the proper use of land in <br />conformity with the overall plan of the City of Colton. <br />WHEREAS, the regular County assessment roll is utilized by the City <br />of Colton. <br />WHEREAS, the affected territory will be taxed for general bonded <br />indebtness of the City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has authorized the <br />City Council of the City of Colton to approve this annexation <br />without notice and hearing and without election. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Colton hereby orders the territory described in the attached <br />Exhibit "A," annexed, pursuant to the Cortese/Knox Local Government <br />Reorganization Act (Government Code Section 56000), and directs the <br />City Clerk of the City of Colton to transmit three (3) certified <br />copies of this resolution with applicable fees required by Section <br />54902.5 of the Government Code to the Executive Officer of the <br />Local Agency Formation Commission of San Bernardino County. <br />ADOPTED, SIGNED, AND APPROVED <br />this 2nd day of May, 1969 <br />A7��I • �l� <br />HELEN A.
