R-95-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING <br />THE CITY OF COLTON'S PARTICIPATION IN THE <br />ISSUANCE OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PUBLIC <br />POWER AUTHORITY'S MULTIPLE PROJECT REVENUE <br />BONDS, 1989 SERIES. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Southern <br />California Public Power Authority (the "Authority"), and the <br />Authority is proposing to issue Multiple Project Revenue Bonds, <br />1989 Series, for the purpose of making funds available to <br />finance an ownership interest, rights to capacity, acquisition, <br />construction and installation of electric generation or <br />transmission projects which may include the proposed Adelanto- <br />Lugo Project, the Mead-Adelanto Project, the Utah -Nevada <br />Project, the Devers-Palo Verde No. 2 Project or other projects <br />(the "Financing") as described on Exhibit A to the "Certificate <br />as to Expectations and Agreements Regarding the Southern <br />California Public Power Authority Multiple Project Revenue <br />Bonds, 1989 Series (the "Certificate"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the Financing in <br />accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act <br />("CEQA"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Certificate and <br />desires to participate in the Financing and approve execution of <br />the Certificate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Colton finds, determines and <br />orders as follows: <br />
