1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16I <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />levy of special taxes within the Community Facilities District to <br />pay the principal of and interest on the bonds thereof, and the <br />proposition with respect to the establishment of an appropriations <br />limit for the Community Facilities District, and providing for the <br />consolidation of said election with the election on the <br />proposition of incurring a bonded indebtedness for the Community <br />Facilities District; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received a statement from <br />the City Clerk, who pursuant to Resolution No. R-121-90 was <br />authorized to conduct such consolidated special elections and act <br />as the election official therefor, with respect to the canvass of <br />the ballots returned in and the results of said consolidated <br />special elections, certifying that more than two-thirds of the <br />votes voted upon the propositions submitted to the voters in said <br />consolidated special elections were in favor of all such <br />propositions; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />section 1. Findings. The City Council finds that: <br />(i) based upon the information contained in the Certificate of the <br />Registrar of Voters of the County of San Bernardino there were no <br />registered voters residing within the boundaries of the Community <br />Facilities District at the time of the close of the protest <br />hearing, and pursuant to Section 53326 of the California <br />Government Code, the vote in said consolidated special elections <br />was, therefore, to be by the landowners owning land within the <br />Community Facilities District, with each landowner having one vote <br />for each acre or portion thereof of land that he or she owned <br />-2- <br />
