R-75-90 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT <br />OF CENTERPOINTE DR. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton <br />has elected to proceed under the provisions of Section 8300 <br />et. seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California and having held a public hearing as provided <br />therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that, <br />in the event Gatlin/Berger Development, Inc., ("Gatlin/Berger") <br />acquires fee title to Parcel Nos. 3 and 4 of Parcel Map No. <br />7596 in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State <br />of California, as per map recorded in Book 76, Pages 39-40, <br />inclusive in the office of the County Recorder of said County <br />and Parcel Nos. 1-4 and 6-8 inclusive of Parcel Map 7327 in <br />the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of <br />California, as per map recorded in Book 72, Pages 32-34, <br />in the office of the County Recorder of said County <br />(collectively "Acquisition Property"), then all that portion <br />of Centerpointe Dr., easterly from the right-of-way line of <br />Mt. Vernon Ave. to the southerly prolongation of Santo Antonio <br />Dr., as shown on Parcel Map No. 7327 recorded in Book 72, <br />Pages 32-34 in the office of the County Recorder of San <br />Bernardino County, will be unnecessary for present or <br />prospective public street purposes and the public interest <br />and conveyance will require the closing of said street, with <br />
