RESOLUTION NO. R-96-90 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON ACTING AS THE LEGISLATIVE BODY <br />OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 89-2 <br />AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEVYING <br />OF SPECIAL TAXES WITHIN SAID DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton (the <br />"City Council") has heretofore taken proceedings pursuant to <br />the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended, <br />(the "Act") for the establishment of Community Facilities <br />District No. 89-2 (the "District") for the purpose of <br />providing public facilities for the use of residents of the <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, following a special election of the qualified <br />electors of the District, this City Council, on October 3, <br />1989, acting as the governing body of the District, adopted <br />Ordinance No. 89-2-1 ("Ordinance") which provided for the <br />levying and collection of special taxes within the District, <br />as provided in the Act and Ordinance and as approved by the <br />qualified electors; and <br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary and appropriate that this <br />City Council levy and collect the special taxes for Fiscal <br />Year 1990-91 by the adoption of a resolution as specified by <br />the Act and Ordinance; <br />
