R-78-91 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY, <br />OF CERTAIN AGREEMENTS WITH RESPECT TO THE MEAD -PHOENIX <br />PROJECT AND THE MEAD-ADELANTO PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the public agencies identified on Exhibit A, attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by reference, have participated in <br />studying the feasibility of (i) a proposed transmission line from <br />a new substation ("Marketplace Substation") to be constructed <br />adjacent to the existing McCullough Switching Station in the <br />Phoenix, Arizona area, together with related facilities ( the <br />"Mead -Phoenix Project"), and (ii) a proposed transmission line <br />project consisting of a 500 kV AC transmission line to be <br />constructed from the Marketplace Substation to the existing <br />Adelanto Switching Station in the Adelanto, California area, <br />together with related facilities (the "Mead-Adelanto Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, this public agency desires to participate in the <br />Mead -Phoenix Project and the Mead-Adelanto Project as provided in <br />the agreements named below its name on Exhibit A hereto (the <br />"Subject Agreements"); and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of this public agency to <br />execute and deliver the Subject Agreements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON: <br />1 <br />
