R-94-91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON REINITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR LAFCO 2681 <br />DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUES <br />TO BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN AND AMONG THE COUNTY OF <br />SAN BERNARDINO AND THE CITY OF COLTON RESULTING <br />FROM THE JURISDICTIONAL CHANGES DESCRIBED BY <br />LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION NUMBER 2681 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 <br />The City Council of the City of Colton hereby finds and <br />determines that: <br />A. The City of Colton desires to re-initiate proceedings <br />for the annexation of Peppertree Lane pursuant to the <br />Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of <br />1985, commencing with Section 56000 of the California <br />Government Code, for Peppertree Lane in the Reche Canyon <br />Area. <br />B. In addition, Pursuant to Section 99 of the Revenue and <br />Taxation Code, prior to the issuance of a certificate of <br />filing by the Local Agency Formation Commission <br />Executive Officer, the governing bodies of all local <br />agencies whose service area or service responsibilities <br />will be altered by a proposed jurisdictional change <br />shall negotiate and determine by resolution the amount <br />of property tax revenues to be exchanged between and <br />among such local agencies. <br />C. Except as provided in Section 99.1 of the Revenue and <br />Taxation Code, in the event that a jurisdictional change <br />would affect the service area or service responsibility <br />of one or more special district, the Board of <br />
