POLICY NO. 18 <br />DISCONTINUANCE AND RECONNECTION OF SERVICE <br />A. General: <br />Page No. 33 <br />1. Failure of the City at any time either to suspend the delivery of <br />service, to terminate the service agreement, to resort to any other <br />legal remedy, or its adoption of either one or the other of such <br />alternative, shall not affect the City's right to resort to any such <br />remedies for the same or any future default or breach by the <br />customer. <br />S. Change of Occupancy: <br />1. when change of occupancy takes place on any premises supplied by the <br />City with electric service, notice thereof shall be given to the <br />City prior to such change. The outgoing customer will be held <br />responsible for the chargeā–  for all of the electricity supplied on <br />the premises until such notice is received. <br />C. Default: <br />1. In case the res £dentSsl";`customer is delinquent and fails to pay an <br />amount due the City, or"in case the customer fails to perform any of <br />the conditions of the applicable service policies, the supply of <br />electricity may be shut off, provided that the City shall not <br />discontinue service until i1'.$ days after written notice has been <br />given, either personally or by mail, to the customer. <br />2. when the supply of electricity has been cut off due to default by a <br />customer, the City shall not be obligated to restore service until <br />said customer shall have made application and paid all money due <br />from him to the City, including a service establishment charge of <br />$10.00 to cover the cost of restoring the supply of electricity <br />during normal working hours, or including a service establishment <br />charge of $95.00 if service is restored during other than normal <br />working hours at the customer's request. <br />3. where the customer's account is guaranteed by deposit, such deposit <br />will be applied by the City in payment of the account when an <br />account is closed for non-payment. Any unused balance of deposit <br />will be refunded to the customer. In case the deposit is not <br />sufficient to pay the account in full, the City will proceed <br />ISSUED BY <br />Gale A.
