ARTICLE I: EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS <br />Section 1: Recognition <br />The City hereby recognizes the International Brotherhood of <br />Electrical Workers, Local 47, as the representatives of employees <br />in the Electrical Unit, which encompasses the following <br />classifications. <br />CUSTOMER SERVICE - FIELD REPRESENTATIVE <br />ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN <br />LINE CREW SUPERVISOR <br />METER OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR <br />METER READER <br />METER TECHNICIAN <br />METER TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE <br />POWER LINE HELPER <br />POWER LINE TECHNICIAN <br />POWER LINE TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE <br />SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN <br />SERVICE CREW SUPERVISOR <br />SUB -STATION ELECTRICIAN <br />SUB -STATION ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE <br />UTILITY WORKER <br />Section 2: Scope of Representation <br />Scope of representation shall include all matters pertaining <br />to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment. <br />Section 3: Disciplinary Action Appeals Process <br />Personnel Rule XV of Resolution number 2240 shall apply to <br />suspensions of three days or less. Written reprimands may be <br />appealed as follows: <br />An employee who receives a written reprimand may appeal such <br />action to the City Manager. Such appeal shall be in writing within <br />three business days of receiving the reprimand. The City Manager <br />shall have five business days to meet with the appellant and five <br />business days to issue a written determination following such <br />meeting. <br />The determination of the City Manager shall be final and <br />binding, and shall not be subject to further appeal including, but <br />not limited to, appeal to the Civil Service Board or under any <br />grievance procedure or any other dispute resolution process in the <br />City of Colton. <br />1 <br />
