1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />91 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />within these certain specific plans are consistent with the City's <br />adopted General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, in accordance with Section 33452 of <br />the Health and Safety Code, has duly given notice of a public <br />hearing to consider the proposed amendment to the Specific Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the <br />proposed Amended Specific Plan and all documents referenced <br />therein, and all evidence represented by the staff and interested <br />parties; and <br />WHEREAS, the Amended Specific Plan will serve to better <br />implement the City's General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Amended Specific Plan has been found to meet all <br />criteria established by state and local regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to readopt the Specific Plan pursuant <br />to Chapter 18.34 of the Colton Municipal Code, in order to provide <br />the City with full land use enforcement capabilities within the <br />Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project Specific Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does <br />resolve as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the readoption by <br />resolutuion of the Specific Plan will provide for the <br />public health, safety, and welfare for the following <br />reasons: <br />a.
