TRANSMISSION/DISTRIBUTION SUPERINTENDENT <br />UTILITIES PLANS EXAMINER <br />WATER UTILITIES COORDINATOR <br />WATER UTILITIES MANAGER <br />Section 2: <br />Scope of Representation <br />Scope of representation shall include all matters pertaining <br />to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment. <br />Section 3: <br />Association Membership <br />All employee members of SBPEA shall remain as members in <br />good standing of said Association for the duration of this <br />Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), except as set forth below. <br />During the period of January 1 through January 15 of each year, <br />any Association member, who has been a member at least one year, <br />may voluntarily withdraw from Association membership. <br />Section 4: <br />Grievance Procedure <br />The parties agree to follow the grievance procedure which is <br />attached as Exhibit A and is incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br />Section 5: <br />Contract Bar <br />It is understood that this MOU shall constitute a bar to any <br />petition or request for recognition in any unit which includes <br />classifications of employees covered by this MOU where such <br />petition or request seeks to represent such employees at any time <br />prior to the expiration of this MOU. <br />ARTICLE II: <br />Section 1: <br />COMPENSATION <br />Salary <br />All employees shall receive a base salary as set forth in <br />the Pay and Classification Plan for the City of Colton. <br />Section 2: <br />Retirement <br />The City will pay the employees' contribution of 7% (9% for <br />Fire personnel) to the Public Employees' Retirement System <br />(P.E.R.S.) and provide retirement benefits as currently specified <br />under the City's contract with P.E.R.S. All such contributions <br />shall be deposited in the Member's Retirement Account.
