1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />151! <br />161 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />for private and public sector users; and, <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Bernardino Board of Supervisors has <br />committed up to $250,000 of its HUD Community Development Block <br />Grant allocation to offset costs of implementing the EDGIS; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to develop a satisfactory product, the <br />County of San Bernardino is in need of active cooperation and <br />assistance from participating jurisdictions in sharing existing <br />digital and other data and in maintaining their respective portion <br />of the EDGIS database over time without charge, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Colton desires <br />to participate with the County of San Bernardino in the EDGIS <br />project; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Colton agrees to <br />provide its existing digital database, including updates, for its <br />respective portions of the EDGIS project area without charge to <br />the County of San Bernardino for the EDGIS project, in return for <br />receiving without cost a user copy of the developed EDGIS project <br />software and integrated database; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Colton will provide) <br />the necessary assistance to the County of San Bernardino tol <br />develop the EDGIS project and maintenance of the City of Colton's <br />EDGIS data over time without charge; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Colton does hereby approve the Memorandum of Understanding <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby <br />
