The City of Colton will provide staff participation in periodic project review <br />meetings, and work cooperatively with the County of San Bernardino and its GIS vendor <br />and project management consultants; <br />C. The City of Colton will make every reasonable effort to provide updates to the <br />EDGIS database for its respective portion of the area without charge in the future as the <br />system is implemented and possibly expanded. <br />II. Agreement to Provide System <br />A. The County of San Bernardino will fund and oversee the work of the EDGIS <br />project vendor, and will work cooperatively with participating jurisdictions to achieve an <br />optimally beneficial product; <br />B. The County of San Bernardino will arrange to have the EDGIS prototype soft- <br />ware and database distributed without charge to each participating jurisdiction, provided <br />the jurisdiction gives the general public reasonable access to use of the EDGIS application. <br />C. The County of San Bernardino will seek to actively involve each participating <br />jurisdiction in the evaluation of the EDGIS prototype project and, to the extent feasible, <br />arrange for modifications and adjustments which will increase its benefits to users; <br />D. The County of San Bernardino will actively solicit advice and comments from <br />representatives of the private sector develop and implement the prototype EDGIS applica- <br />tion so as to maximize its potential value to users and to identify opportunities to expand <br />the system to other parts of the Inland Empire. <br />E. In return for assistance by participating jurisdictions in updating their respective <br />portions of the EDGIS database, the County of San Bernardino will make every reasonable <br />effort in the future to update the overall EDGIS database on an ongoing, coordinated <br />basis. <br />This Agreement is entered into by the undersigned representatives of the County of <br />San Bernardino and the City of Colton: <br />DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC AND CITY MANAGER <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CITY OF COLTON <br />COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO <br />RW <br />Date Date: <br />
