1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, use of the alternative procedure set forth in section <br />21670.1 rather than re-establishment of the County ALUC will eliminate <br />redundant reviews and streamline processes. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Colton hereby adopts the alternative procedure set forth in Public <br />Utilities Code section 21670.1, subdivision (c). <br />RESOLVED, FURTHER that the City Council hereby determines <br />that proper land use planning pursuant to Article 3.5 of Chapter 4 of Part <br />1 of Division 9 of the Public Utilities Code can be accomplished pursuant <br />to Public Utilities Code section 21670.1, subdivision (c). <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, that the City Council hereby determines <br />that proper land use planning may be accomplished within areas around <br />public airports by using as guidelines the State Division of Aeronautics <br />Airport Land Use Planning Handbook and any applicable federal aviation <br />regulations. <br />RESOLVED, FURTHER that the City Council hereby determines <br />that proper land use planning may be accomplished within areas around <br />public airports through local planning laws and ordinances which will <br />address the preparation, adoption and amendment of the Comprehensive <br />Airport Land Use Plan. <br />RESOLVED, FURTHER that the City Council hereby determines <br />that the planning efforts of the city around public airports will involve <br />notification of the general public, land owners, interested groups, and <br />other public agencies regarding the preparation, adoption and <br />amendment of the Comprehensive Airport Land Use Plan. <br />RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Council hereby determines <br />that the Airport Mediation Board will serve as the mediator of disputes <br />arising from the preparation, adoption, and amendment of the <br />Comprehensive Airport Land Use Plan. <br />RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Council hereby determines <br />that its general and specific plans will be amended, where necessary, to <br />be consistent with the adopted Comprehensive Airport Land Use Plan. <br />
