Vernon <br />Corridor Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan"); and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the interests of the present <br />landowners within the project area subject to the Mt. Vernon <br />Corridor Redevelopment Plan (the "Project Area") and the <br />residents, both within the Project Area and within the City <br />generally, that the Agency causes the completion of a certain <br />public community center located within the Colton Municipal Park <br />near the intersection of North Colton Avenue and E Street in the <br />City (the "Community Center"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Community Center will provide much needed <br />public recreational and cultural facilities to the City of Colton <br />which will be used by the members of the Project Area as well as <br />-2- <br />
