If the City Attorney is terminated without just <br />cause, however, the City Attorney shall be entitled to three months salary as severance pay for <br />each full year of service up to a maximum payment equal to twelve (12) months salary. <br />SECTION 6 The terms and conditions of employment set forth in this resolution are <br />intended to extend to the current City Attorney and to future City Attorneys. The current City <br />Attorney is acknowledged to be at Step C on the salary grid, and as of her anniversary date shall <br />be entitled to move to Step D. With regard to the severance provisions established by this <br />Resolution, the current City Attorney is hereby currently credited with two full years continuous <br />service and shall be entitled to severance for termination without cause in accord with her length <br />of service according to her anniversary date. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 1996. <br />Betty L.
