R-121-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />ADOPTING CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br />EMPLOYMENT OF EMPLOYEES IN THE BARGAINING UNIT <br />REPRESENTED BY TEAMSTERS LOCAL 1932 MID -MANAGERS, THE <br />INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS <br />(IBEW), LOCAL 47 WATER AND WASTEWATER DIVISION, THE <br />COLTON POLICE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (CPMA) AND THE <br />COLTON FIRE FIGHTERS ASSOCIATION (CFFA) AND AMENDING THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 BUDGET FOR THE ASSOCIATED FISCAL <br />IMPACTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") has met and conferred in good faith and fully <br />communicated and exchanged information concerning working conditions, wages and benefits <br />with the Teamsters Union, Local 1932 — Mid -Managers Employees, the International Brotherhood <br />of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 47 Water and Wastewater Division, the Colton Police <br />Management Association (CPMA) and the Colton Fire Fighters Association (CFFA) negotiating <br />successor agreements to the Memorandum of Understandings covering these bargaining units, <br />whose contracts expired on December 31, 2019 (Teamsters, IBEW and CFFA) and February 28, <br />2020 (CPMA); and <br />WHEREAS, the appointed representatives of the parties agreed on certain matters as <br />stated in the attached staff report and MOU's and recommend that the city and the bargaining units <br />implement these agreements; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approves the Memorandum of Understanding for the <br />contract period of the City of Colton and the Teamsters Local 1932 — Mid -Managers Employees - <br />January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2025; IBEW Local 47 Water/Wastewater - January 1, 2021 <br />through December 31, 2024; Colton Police Management Association - March 1, 2021 through <br />June 30, 2024; and the Colton Fire Fighters Association - January 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the budget for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, <br />2022 was approved and adopted by resolution R-58-21 on May 18, 2021.
