This provision shall be included in the successor agreement in <br />the Memorandum of Understanding between the Colton Police <br />Officers Association and the City of Colton which went into <br />effect January 1, 1995, and subsequent amendments. This <br />provision shall remain in effect as long as that successor <br />agreement remains operative and governs the terms of the <br />relationship between the Colton Police Officers Association and <br />the City of Colton. <br />VIII. SAVINGS CLAUSE: Should any provision of this agreement be <br />held invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, then the <br />remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. <br />IX.
