R-44 -00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS <br />TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY <br />AREA FOR STUDY PURPOSES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, California has previously <br />adopted an ordinance finding the need for a redevelopment agency to function in the <br />City of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency has been duly organized as the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, (the "Agency") with the City Council <br />sitting as the said Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33310 of the California Health and <br />Safety Code, this City Council, as the legislative body, may designate a redevelopment <br />survey are for study purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, a redevelopment survey area is graphically depicted on Exhibit <br />"A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and <br />WHEREAS, the area depicted on Exhibit "A" requires study to determine if the <br />formation of a redevelopment project area is feasible; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33322 of the California Health and <br />Safety Code, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton shall, at the direction of <br />the City Council, select a project area from within the boundaries of the survey area and <br />formulate a preliminary plan for the area so selected. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />
