V. SICK LEAVE: SICK LEAVE BUY BACK PROGRAM: The City agrees to implement the <br />Police Association/Police Management "Sick Leave Buy Back Program" as stated below. <br />Each represented employee shall be allowed to buy back up to 96 hours of sick leave per year. <br />The requirements for the buy back are as follows: <br />A. Employee must have a minimum of 1,000 hours to participate in the program; and <br />B. A minimum of 15 years service; and <br />C. Employee can only buy back the amount of unused hours accumulated in any one <br />calendar year; and <br />D. The employee shall be compensated at their current salary at the time of request; and <br />E. This item shall be considered on a calendar year basis. <br />VI. SICK LEAVE: The Union Agrees to modifying Article IV, Section 3, Subsection C of the <br />consolidated MOU, to "1/2 their yearly accrual'. <br />VII. MAINTENANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: All other terms and <br />conditions of employment shall remain in full force and effect as set forth in other Memoranda of <br />Understanding. <br />VIII. SAVINGS CLAUSE: Should any provision of this agreement be held invalid by a court of <br />competent jurisdiction, then the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. <br />IX.
