R-30-22 <br />A RESOLUTION OF T1IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2119, PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ON THE SIXTH DAY OF DECEMBER,1960, <br />TO INCLUDE RESTRICTED PARKING ALONG VIA DE LA ZANJA FROM <br />WASHINGTON STREET TO THE SOUTH END. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") is a municipal corporation duly organized and <br />existing pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of California; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to improve the traffic flow, <br />safety, and circulation within the City jurisdiction; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to address the traffic safety and congestion concern along <br />Via De La Zanja Lane; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Traffic Committee approved and recommended parking <br />restriction along Via De La Zanja Lane from Washington Street to the south end. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby adopts the recitals <br />contained in this resolution as findings in support of restricting parking along both sides of Via <br />De La Zanja from Washington Street to the south end. <br />SECTION 2: A Section is hereby added to Resolution No. 2119 (Section 23) <br />restricting parking along both sides of Via De La Zanja Lane from Washington Street to the <br />south end. <br />SECTION 3: This Resolution shall supersede and repeal any other resolution or <br />portion of a resolution to the extent such resolution may be inconsistent with this Resolution. <br />SECTION 4: If any provision or clause of this Resolution or any application of it to <br />any person, firm, organization, partnership or corporation is held invalid, such invalidity shall <br />
