R-39-01 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON APPROVING THE FORM OF A <br />MITIGATION AND PROPERTY OWNER <br />REDEVELOPMENT COOPERATION AGREEMENT BY <br />AND AMONG THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, THE CITY AND THE <br />PROPERTY OWNER (SQUIRES LUMBER COMPANY, <br />INC.) <br />WHEREAS, on August 17, 1999, the Redevelopment Agency <br />for the City of Colton (the "Agency") approved the Dominguez <br />Plaza Owner Participation Agreement for the redevelopment of <br />the vacant former Travelodge Motel lands situated on the <br />north side of Valley Boulevard between 9th Street and 10th <br />Street (the "Dominguez Plaza Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, on April 17, 2001, the City Council of the <br />City of Colton (the "City") conducted public hearings and <br />approved various development project applications relating <br />to the Dominguez Plaza Project, including without <br />limitation, the approval of public street closure and <br />vacation proceedings affecting the southerly portion of H <br />Street between the intersection of H Street and 9th Street <br />and the intersection of H Street and 10th Street in the City <br />(the "Street Vacation Proceedings"); and <br />WHEREAS, Squires Lumber Company, Inc., and the <br />Paxton Family Trust (collectively referred to herein as the <br />"Property Owner") have submitted written and oral objections <br />to the approval by the City of the various development <br />1 <br />
