<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF COLTON APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN
<br />AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE LAND USE
<br />DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY
<br />OF COLTON
<br />WHEREAS, The Colton Community Development Department filed an
<br />application on May 3, 2001, File Index No. DGZ-35-01, for an amendment to the general plan
<br />of the City of Colton ("General Plan") to change the land use designation of property from
<br />"Business Park" to "Industrial Park." ("Application"), affecting 33 parcels of land located
<br />north and south of Fairway Drive, between San Bernardino County Flood Control, east to
<br />Colton city limits (Assessor Parcel No's. 164-181-08. 09, Portion of 12, 164-182-38, 43, 44,
<br />45, 46, 47, 48, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 164-201-01, 02, 06, 08, 09, 164-202-09, 35, 46, 49,
<br />50, 51, 52, 164-281-01, 02, Portion of 9, Portion of 11) ("Subject Site") in the City of Colton,
<br />County of San Bernardino;
<br />WHEREAS, the Application was referred to all affected public agencies
<br />pursuant to section 65352 of the Government Code;
<br />WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found to comply with
<br />the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA') as more fully described below;
<br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 2001, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton
<br />("Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all
<br />persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application
<br />was fully studied;
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending
<br />approval of this Amendment to the General Plan of the City of Colton;
<br />WHEREAS, on August 7, 2001, the City Council of the City of Colton (`City
<br />Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all
<br />persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application
<br />was fully studied; and
