1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18, 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO.,�,.�,� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF COLTON WHEREAS, the Colton Community Development Department filed an application for File Index No. DGZP-51-01 to amend the general plan of the City of Colton ("General Plan") to change the land use designation of property from "Commercial (General Commercial)" to "Low Density Residential." ("Application"); WHEREAS, the Application affects approximately 4.27 acres of property generally located on the east side of Pepper Avenue, approximately 1,000 feet north of the northeast corner of Pepper Avenue and San Bernardino Avenue (Lot 1 of Proposed Parcel Map 15697) ("Subject Site") in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino; WHEREAS, the Application was referred to all affected public agencies pursuant to section 65352 of the Government Code, WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") as more fully described below; WHEREAS, on August 14, 2001, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton ("Commission") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application, at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application was fully studied; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending approval of this Amendment to the General Plan of the City of Colton; WHEREAS, on September 4, 2001, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application, at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard
