IV) IT "N' <br />ANNUAL OVERALL GOAL INFORMATION <br />Louis Flores <br />Chief of Local Assistance <br />CALTRANS DISTRICT 8 <br />464 W. 4th Street — 6' Floor <br />San Bernardino, CA 92401-1400 <br />Attention: Lana Beals <br />Assistant CALTRANS Manager <br />DBE Coordinator <br />The amount of overall goal, methodology, breakout of estimated race -neutral and <br />race -conscious participation, and DBE program updates are presented herein in <br />accordance with Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 26, and as <br />described in the Local Assistance Procedures Manual. <br />The City of Colton submits our annual overall goal information (and any needed <br />updates of our DBE program) for your review and comment. We have established an <br />annual DBE goal of 19% for minority participation and a goal of 6.9% for female <br />participation for the Federal Fiscal Year 2001-2002, beginning on October 1, 2001 <br />and ending on September 30, 2002. <br />Methodoloo <br />The City of Colton's 2000-2001 DBE Goal was calculated using Caltrans' model <br />program. For the 2001-2002 DBE Goal, the City has used methodology dictated by <br />the Economic Development Administration (EDA) of the U.S. Department of <br />Commerce. <br />Breakout of Estimated Race -Neutral and Race -Conscious Participation <br />A single goal for minorities and a separate single goal for women have each been <br />established. <br />DBE Program Updates <br />A requirement to comply with the provisions of 41 CFR 60-4 has been added to the <br />City's DBE Goal requirements. <br />Please feel free to contact me at 909-370-5065. <br />Amer Jakher, P.E., City Engineer Date <br />Engineering Department <br />City of Colton <br />
