The City of Colton finds that the proposed Zone Text Amendment to. <br />permit an automobile carwash, by adding and/or modifying definitions; modifying allowances <br />for certain permitted, conditional, and prohibited land uses in `the C-2l1) zone; is reasonably <br />related to the public welfare of the citizens of the. City and surrounding region; more specifically, <br />the Ordinance includes appropriate restrictions to ensure. that the proposed standards meet all <br />safety standards including Building and Safety Codes,. Fire. Codes. and reviewlapprovaI by the <br />City Engineer. <br />SECTION 4. Certain. sections of Chapter 18.04 (Definitions) of Title 18 of the Colton <br />Municipal Code, pertaining to Definitions,; are .hereby amended or added to read as follows with <br />new text shown in boldface underline (LeLtj and deleted text shown in strikethrough (# ) with <br />existing text to remain unchanged shown without. boldface underline nor strikethrough: <br />I "1,8.04. � Definitions <br />18.04.72.1 -- Automobile Light Repair..
