1 WHEREAS, the City Council approves Side letter#1 between the IBEW Local 47, Electric <br /> 2 Unit: In July 2023, association members will received a ten (10%) percent increase in base <br /> salary in exchange for extending their current MOU contract of January 1, 2021 —December 31, <br /> 3 2023, through December 31, 2024. All other contract provision remain the same and in effect; <br /> and <br /> 4 <br /> 5 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> 6 CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 7 <br /> SECTION 1. City Council hereby adopts the changes to the terms and conditions of <br /> 8 employment for the above mentioned nine (9) Colton Employee Associations effective in July <br /> 9 2023; and <br /> 10 SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute implementation of these MOUs <br /> Side Letters on the City's behalf; and <br /> 11 <br /> 12 SECTION 3. City Council hereby amends the FY2021-22 Budget to increase <br /> appropriations as follows: <br /> 13 <br /> 14 1. Appropriate in the fiscal year 2023-2024 General Fund budget $3.37 million for <br /> changes to the nine(9) Colton Employee Associations MOU's; <br /> 15 2.
