RESOLUTION NO. R-37-23 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING 4 COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS OF NON-REPRESENTED 5 CONFIDENTIAL GROUP EMPLOYEES 6 WHEREAS, the City of Colton ("City") through Resolution No. R-11-11 created a separate group of non-represented employees who perform "confidential" functions as defined 7 by Government Code Sections 3515 and 3562; 8 WHEREAS, the City from time to may elect to make adjustments to the compensation 9 and benefits for the Confidential Group consistent with practices for the City's represented employees; and 1 o WHEREAS, the City now desires the City Council to update the members of the 11 Confidential Group regarding the classifications, salary and benefits for the Confidential Group. 12 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON 13 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 14 ARTICLE I 15 GENERAL PROVISIONS; EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS 16 Section 1. Title of Resolution. This Resolution shall be known as the Compensation and Benefits Resolution for Non-Represented Confidential Group Employees of 17 the City of Colton. 18 Section 2. Term of Resolution. This Resolution shall remain in full force and effect until modified or terminated by action of the City Council. 19 Section 3. Statement of Purpose. This Resolution is adopted to provide a 211 comprehensive listing of compensation and benefits to be provided to Confidential Group 21 employees. 22 Section 4. Members of Confidential Group. The Confidential Group is made up of employees holding the following positions in a full-time capacity: 23 Assistant to the City Manager ,4 Deputy City Clerk Executive Assistant to the City Manager Finance Manager 26 Human Resources Analyst Human Resources Specialist Payroll Analyst Senior Finance Analyst
