1 RESOLUTION NO. R-38-23 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 3 COLTON AMENDING THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS OF NON-REPRESENTED 4 EXECUTIVE GROUP EMPLOYEES 5 WHEREAS, the City Council first adopted a combined compensation and benefits 6 resolution for the "executive unit", a group of unrepresented employees, by Resolution R- 69A-01; 7 WHEREAS, the City Council has since amended the executive unit compensation 8 and benefits package, most recently on December 21, 2021, through the adoption of 9 Resolution No. R-129-21; and 10 WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to update the members of the Executive Group and to authorize the City Manager to enter into individual employment agreements 11 with certain members. 12 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON 13 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 14 ARTICLE I 15 GENERAL PROVISIONS; EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS 16 Section 1. Title of Resolution. This Resolution shall be known as the 17 Compensation and Benefits Resolution for Non-Represented Executive Group Employees of the City of Colton. 18 Section 2. Term of Resolution. This Resolution shall remain in full force and 19 effect until modified or terminated by action of the City Council. 20 Section 3. Statement of Purpose. This Resolution is adopted to provide a 21 comprehensive listing of compensation and benefits to be provided to Executive Group 22 employees. 23 Section 4. Members of Executive Group. The Executive Group is made up of employees holding the following positions in a full-time capacity: 24 25 Assistant Director of Utility Operations 26 Assistant Director of Public Works and Engineering Community Services Director 27 Deputy Fire Chief 28 Development Services Director Finance Director Fire Chief Electric Utility Director Human Resources and Risk Management Director
