R-38-23 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> 3 COLTON AMENDING THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING <br /> COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS OF NON-REPRESENTED <br /> 4 EXECUTIVE GROUP EMPLOYEES <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the City Council first adopted a combined compensation and benefits <br /> 6 resolution for the "executive unit", a group of unrepresented employees, by Resolution R- <br /> 69A-01; <br /> 7 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has since amended the executive unit compensation <br /> 8 and benefits package, most recently on December 21, 2021, through the adoption of <br /> 9 Resolution No. R-129-21; and <br /> 10 WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to update the members of the Executive <br /> Group and to authorize the City Manager to enter into individual employment agreements <br /> 11 with certain members. <br /> 12 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> 13 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 14 ARTICLE I <br /> 15 GENERAL PROVISIONS; EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS <br /> 16 Section 1. Title of Resolution. This Resolution shall be known as the <br /> 17 Compensation and Benefits Resolution for Non-Represented Executive Group Employees of <br /> the City of Colton. <br /> 18 <br /> Section 2. Term of Resolution. This Resolution shall remain in full force and <br /> 19 effect until modified or terminated by action of the City Council. <br /> 20 <br /> Section 3. Statement of Purpose. This Resolution is adopted to provide a <br /> 21 comprehensive listing of compensation and benefits to be provided to Executive Group <br /> 22 employees. <br /> 23 Section 4. Members of Executive Group. The Executive Group is made up of <br /> employees holding the following positions in a full-time capacity: <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> Assistant Director of Utility Operations <br /> 26 Assistant Director of Public Works and Engineering <br /> Community Services Director <br /> 27 Deputy Fire Chief <br /> 28 Development Services Director <br /> Finance Director <br /> Fire Chief <br /> Electric Utility Director <br /> Human Resources and Risk Management Director <br />
