1 Residential Group R occupancies, for the purpose of this resolution, are generally those <br /> occupancies containing sleeping units, and include hotels, motels, apartments (three <br /> 2 <br /> units or more), etc. as well as other residential occupancies (including a number of <br /> 3 residential care facilities). These residential care facilities have a number of different <br /> 4 sub-classifications, and they may contain residents or clients that have a range of needs, <br /> 5 including those related to custodial care, mobility impairments, cognitive disabilities, <br /> 6 etc. The residents may also be non-ambulatory or bedridden. Within the City of Colton, <br /> 7 there lie 34 Group R(and their associated sub-categories) occupancies of this nature. <br /> During fiscal year 2022-2023, the Colton Fire Department completed the annual <br /> 8 <br /> inspection of 57 Group R occupancies,buildings, structures, and/or facilities. <br /> 9 <br /> This is a compliance rate of 100% of known occupancies for this reporting period. <br /> 10 SECTION 3.
