(6) Conduct LLMD II Public Hearing- TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER A PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE ANNUAL ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. II FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 &APPROVE AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. II FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024, RESOLUTION NO. R-53-23 & R-54-23. Mayor Navarro declared the Public Hearing open. The Deputy City Clerk Vargas submitted the Notice of Public Hearing (on file in the City Clerk's Office) and there were no reports of protests or objections thereto. Staff Presentation Brian Dickinson, Director of Public Works and Utilities, presented for Council an overview of the agenda item and requested approval of staffs recommendation. Public Comment None. Motion and Second by CM Chastain/CM Echevarria to close the public hearing. Vote: Unanimous, Motion Passes. Council Discussion None. Motion and Second by MPT Toro/CM Gonzalez to Approve and Adopt Resolution No. R-53-23 and R-54-23. Vote: Unanimous, Motion Passes. BUSINESS ITEMS (7) Ordinance 0-07-23 and Resolution R-63-23 increasing City Council salary, automobile allowance and medical contribution- Waive Full Reading , Read by Title Only and Pass First Reading of Ordinance 0- 07-23 and Approve and Adopt Resolution R-61-23, Increasing Council Salary/Auto Allowance/Medical Contribution, ORDINANCE NO. 0-07-23 & RESOLUTION NO. R-61-23. Staff Presentation Human Resources Director Thomas Cody presented for Council consideration an overview of the agenda item and requested approval of staffs recommendation.
