RESOLUTION NO. 2987 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF COLTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2240 AND <br /> AMENDMENTS THERETO . <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton <br /> as follows : <br /> 1. That Rule XI, Section 2 of Resolution No. 2509 is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 2 . Accumulation of Annual Leave: All eligible <br /> employees shall earn vacation credits at the rate of 5/6 working <br /> days per month, provided that all eligible employees who work <br /> less than full time earn vacation credits on a pro-rated basis . <br /> All employees who shall have been in continuous service for more <br /> than six years shall earn vacation credits at the rate of 1 day <br /> per month. All employees who shall have been in continuous ser- <br /> vice for more than ten years shall earn vacation credits at the <br /> rate of 1 1/4 days per month. All employees who shall have been <br /> in continuous service for more than 16 years shall earn vacation <br /> credits at the rate of 1 2/3 days per month. <br /> However, credits shall be given in the year prior to the <br /> sixth, tenth and sixteenth anniversary date to assure that the <br /> employee in continuous service through each of these anniversaries <br /> is entitled to a vacation of 12 working days , 15 working days , <br /> and 20 working days respectively during the calendar year of the <br /> anniversary date. <br />
