1 RESOLUTION NO, 2499 <br /> 2 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED <br /> ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF COLTON OF <br /> 3 UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HERE- <br /> IN AND DESIGNATED "WEST COLTON ANNEXA- <br /> 4 TION NO. 22" AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME <br /> AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS <br /> 5 THERETO,, <br /> 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: <br /> 7 SECTION 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of <br /> 8 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 (Special procedure under Section 35310. 1 <br /> 9 Government Code) a petition signed by the owners of all the land in the herein- <br /> 10 after described territory was filed with the City of Colton requesting annexation <br /> 11 of the following described territory to the City of Colton, <br /> 12 SECTION 2. That the territory which the petitioner is proposing to <br /> 13 annex to the City of Colton is situate in the County of San Bernardino, State of <br /> 14 California, hereby designated "West Colton Annexation No. 22" and described <br /> 15 as follows: <br /> 16 That portion of Lot 183 of the Town of Rialto and adjoining <br /> subs„ as shown in record of Maps, Book 4, Page 11 and <br /> 17 more particularly described as follows: <br /> 18 Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 183; thence <br /> South along the East line of said Lot 183, being also the <br /> 19 present corporate boundaries of the City of Colton, a dis- <br /> tance of 130 feet; thence West along a line parallel to the <br /> 20 North line of said lot, a distance of 180 feet; thence North <br /> along a line parallel to the East line of said lot, a distance <br /> 21 of 130 feet to the North line of said lot; thence East along <br /> said North line a distance of 180 feet to the Point of <br /> 22 Beginning„ (. 54 AC) <br /> 23 SECTION 3. That the County Boundary Commission of San Bernardino <br /> 24 County, California did in session duly assembled on August 20, 1964 consider <br /> 25 the proposed annexation boundaries of said "West Colton Annexation No. 22" as <br /> 26 above described, and as submitted to said Commission by the proponents of <br /> 27 said annexation and that the Local Agency Formation Commission of San <br /> 28 Bernardino County, California did in session duly assembled on September 23, <br /> 29 1964 approve the proposed annexation boundaries of said "West Colton <br /> 30 Annexation No. 22". <br /> 31 SECTION 4. That October 20, 1964 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the <br /> 32 Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 650 North 8th Street in the City of <br />
