1 Colton is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where Council will hear 2 protests of owners of property within the City who do not own property in 3 territory sought to be annexed, 4 SECTION 5,, The City Clerk of the City of Colton is hereby authorized 5 and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least once in 6i the Colton Daily Courier a newspaper of general circulation published in said 7 City of Colton, the City to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, 8 said publication to be complete at least 4 days prior to the date set for hearing. 9 SECTION 6, In the event there is, upon the land proposed to be annexed 10 to said City, a structural improvement owned, being acquired or leased by a 11 county fire protection district, the City Clerk is directed to cause written 12 notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the governing body of such 13 district, such notice to be sent not less than ten (10) days before the first public 14 hearing upon such proposed annexation, 15 SECTION 7, The City Clerk is directed to cause Written notice to be 16 given to such other persons as may be legally entitled thereto in the manner 17 required by law, 18 ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1964 by the following vote: 19 AYES: Councilmen Coltrin, Kaney, Holtzendorff, Spragins, Oliva 20 NOES: Councilmen None 21 ABSENT: Councilmen None 22 23 it e r 24 SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of October, 1964. 25 26 ayor 27 28 29 30 31 32
