it 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2492 2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED 3 "WEST COLTON ANNEXATION NO, 21" TO THE CITY OF COLTON, 4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: 5 WHEREAS, on the 18th day of August, 1964 the Council did pass and 6 adopt Resolution No, 2490 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain 7 uninhabited territory being therein designated as "West Colton Annexation 8 No. 21" to the City of Colton, said Resolution describing the boundaries of 9 the territory proposed to be annexed; and 10 WHEREAS, said Resolution No, 2490 did contain a notice of the day, 11 hour and place when and where the Council of the City of Colton would hear 12 protests made by owners of property within the City of Colton but not within 13 the territory to be annexed, the time of said hearing to be not more than 30 14 days after passage of said resolution., (Section 35310. 1 GC) and 15 WHEREAS, at a regular adjourned meeting held on the 26th day of 16 August, 1964 at 5 o'clock p.m, in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center 17 located at 650 North 8th Street in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, 18 State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed 19 in Resolution No. 2490 for hearing protests to said annexation, the said City 20 Council did hear and pass on all protests made to the proposed annexation and 21 did determine that sufficient protests have not been made by the owners of 22 property within the City who do not own property in the territory proposed 23 to be annexed, and 24 WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Colton and is 25 uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; 26 NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Colton does hereby 27 approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described, to the City of 28 Colton and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby 29 annexed to the City of Colton, 30 That the said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Colton is 31 hereby approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Bernardino, 32 State of California more particularly described as follows:
