The City Clerk is further authorized and directed 2 to cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be 3 mailed to each person to whom land within the territory 4 proposed to be annexed is assessed in the last equalized county 5 assessment roll available on the date the above said proceedings 6 were initiated, at the addresses shown on said assessment roll 7 or known to the Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name 8 and address and the designation of the lands in which he has 9 an interest, either legal or equir:able, with the Clerk, such 101 notice to be given not less than twenty (20) days before the 11 first public hearing on the proposed annexation. 12 7 . In the event any land within the territory proposed 13 to be annexed is owned by a county, the City Clerk is directed 14 to cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be 15 mailed to the Board of Supervisors of the county, such notice 16 to be given not less than twenty (20) days before the first 17 public hearing on the proposed annexation. 18 8. In the event there is, upon the land proposed to be 19 annexed, a structural improvement owned, being acquired or 20 leased by a county fire protection district, the said Clerk is 21 directed to cause written notice to such proposed annexation 22 to be mailed to the governing body of such district, such 23 notice to be sent not less than ten (10) days before the 24 first public hearing upon such proposed annexation. 25 9. The City Clerk is directed to cause written notice to 26 be given to such other persons as may be legally entitled 27 thereto, in the manner required by law. 28 ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 1964 by the 29 following vote: 30 AYES: Councilmen Coltrin, Kaney, Holtzendorff, Spragins 31 NOES: Councilmen None 32 ABSENT: Councilman Oliva . -� - _ .
