That the County Boundary Commission of S n Bernardino 4 County, California, did in session duly assembled on 5 August 22, 1963, approve the proposed annexation boundaries 6 of said "East Colton Annexation No. 22 " . 7 4. That Tuesday, October 6, 1964, at the hour of 8 7 : 30 p.m. , in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located 9 at 650 North 8th Street in the City of Colton, County of 10 San Bernardino, California, is hereby fixed as the time and 11 place when and where any person owning real property within the 12 uninhabited territory above described and proposed to be 13 annexed to the City of Colton, and having any objections to the 14 proposed annexation, may appear before the Council of the City 15 of Colton and show cause why such uninhabited territory should 16 not be so annexed to said City of Colton. Such protest must be 17 in writing, may be filed at any time before the hour set for 18 hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and shall state 19 the name or names of the owner or owners of property affected 20 and the description and area of such property in general terms . 21 5 . The City Clerk of the City of Colton is hereby 22 authorized and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to 23 be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a 24 week, in the Colton Courier, a newspaper of general circulation 25 published in said City of Colton, the city to which it is 26 proposed to annex the aforesaid territory and also in the San 27 Bernardino Sun, a newspaper of general circulation published 28 outside the City of Colton, but in the County of San Bernardino, 29 California, the county in which is located the territory pro- 30 posed to be annexed to the City of Colton, said publication 31 to be complete at least twenty (20) days prior to the date set 32 for hearing.
